Privacy & your account
What Day100 stores
Your chosen username, display name, country, language, password hash, account sessions, learning progress, comments, community posts, follows, blocks, language requests and chat messages (including attached photos) are stored on the Korean Talk server.
Who can see it
Your public profile, mission comments and community posts are visible to signed-in members. Direct chat is restricted to its participants. Server operators can access stored data for maintenance; messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Transport uses HTTPS/WSS.
Voice & video calls
Microphone and camera access is requested only when you start or answer a call. WebRTC transports encrypted media directly or through our Day100 TURN relay. Calls are not recorded or stored by Day100. Signaling and relay servers process connection metadata such as IP addresses while connecting. Mute, disable your camera or end a call at any time. Private text messages remain server-stored as described above.
Delete or manage your data
Use My page → Delete account, then confirm your password. This deletes your account and associated active-server records. You can delete your own comments and posts individually, unfollow users or block them. Recovery copies, if created for maintenance, are not part of the active service.
Device storage & speech
Desktop and home-screen apps retain a session token on your device. The native mobile app uses secure device storage and shares its session with the embedded community view. Log out to revoke the session. Voice playback uses your device’s available speech services; depending on the selected voice, your operating-system provider may process spoken text.
